Log Cabin Kits
Handcrafted Log Cabin Kits, Built in Canada and Shipped Worldwide
Every Westlogs log cabin kit begins in British Columbia's sustainable forests, where we hand-select premium western red cedar and Douglas fir logs. Unlike milled kits from mass manufacturers, each log in our cabin kits is scribed, stacked, and hand-cut by experienced craftsmen — the same handcrafted method used in traditional Scandinavian log building.

What's included in our log cabin kits:
The complete handcrafted log shell, shipping to your building site, full construction blueprints, and on-site technical assistance during reassembly. Your local contractor completes the foundation, roofing, windows, and interior finishes — keeping your total cost lower while ensuring the log work itself is done right.
Small log cabin kits to full-size log homes.
Our plans range from the 484 sq ft Bachelor cabin to estate homes over 5,900 sq ft. Browse small log cabin kits under 1,500 sq ft for cottages and guest cabins, mid-size family plans from 1,500–3,000 sq ft, or our modern log cabin kits with contemporary layouts.

Why cedar and Douglas fir?
Western red cedar naturally resists rot and insects while providing excellent insulation; Douglas fir delivers unmatched structural strength. Read our full comparison of [cedar vs. Douglas fir] to choose the right wood for your project.
